I said i would try to lay off the bars recipe for a while. Come on i did, the last bar recipe was weeks ago…maybe even months.
This is really a “catch-all” recipe that turned out right.
I did not wanna have another smoothie but needed a healthy snack. I looked around and had half a mango left from breakfast, a small banana on the verge of getting bad, a few pistachios and honey of course. I through everything together in a bowl, with yogurt and oats and put in the oven. I was not so confident cause i’m never a huge fan of baked mango, it usually does not taste much of anything but for some reason it turned out really well this time cause i could totally taste it ! The chewy texture of it together with the yogurt, banana and oats and the crunchy of the pistachhio is a pretty nice combo. I finished the last one today and im sad 😦
INGREDIENTS
1/2 mango
1 small banana
50g of pistachios
2 big spoons of flowers honey
1 dl of yogurt
100g of oats
WHAT TO DO WITH THEM
just cut the mango in small pieces, mash the banana and mix everything together, preferably with a wooden spoon instead of a mixer that would over mix and i personally enjoy to be able to identify the different ingredients when the bar is done.
Put everything in a form and in the oven at 180c for about 20 min. Let rest before you cut in.
